The Pall Mall Initiative is a professional development and cultural exchange program for young German and Austrian professionals and students. The program exposes the group to American business culture through a combination of theoretical and practical training at companies in New York City. The theoretical portion focuses on aspects of American society including the economy, politics, the media, the education system and social issues. For the practical component, individuals complete an internship program for either six weeks or three months in the fields of advertising/marketing, Internet/multimedia, hotel/tourism, fashion/design, finance/commerce and PR/media.
