Development Program
To provide training opportunities in America for international young
professionals and students in business, technical, engineering, and
hotel administration. Individuals are responsible for finding their
own host company placements. Duration: 3-18 months.
Career Training Program
To provide training opportunities in America for European and Asian
young professionals in business, technical, engineering, and hotel
administration. CDS International coordinates this program with
partner organizations around the world. Duration: 3-18 months.
USA Internship Program
This 3-12 month internship placement program is designed for qualified students from participating universities to intern throughout the United States in business-related and technical fields.
Congress-Bundestag Youth Exchange
Program for Young Professionals
Scholarship program for Germans with strong focus on the cultural experience,
designed to give participants understanding for life, education,
and professional training in the United States. Intended primarily
for young adults (18-22) in business, technical, vocational, and
agricultural fields. Duration: 12 months.
International Co-op Programs
To provide training opportunities for students enrolled in co-operative education programs at Canadian universities. Individuals must be evaluated by a Co-op advisor during the application process. Duration 3-18 months.
University of Waterloo Program
To provide training opportunities for University of Waterloo students enrolled in the Co-operative Education program. Please contact the UW Co-op department prior to applying to this program. Duration 3-18 months.
Fachhochschule Program
To provide training opportunities in America for German FH students
in business, technical, and engineering fields. Duration: 6 months.
UNIDO Fellowship
The United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) is
a specialized agency that administers projects in developing countries.
The fellowship program provides a means for individuals involved
with these projects in their home country to acquire advanced training
in the U.S. and other major industrial countries. Upon their return,
they apply their training to UNIDO sponsored development projects.
Duration: variable.
Pall Mall Initiative
Young professionals from Germany and Austria with a solid knowledge of English receive exposure to American business culture. This scholarship program offers theoretical and practical training at companies in New York City.
