This program provides training opportunities in the US for German FH students in business, technical, or engineering fields.


Responsibilties of Participant:
  • Pay SEVIS fee.
  • Pay for health insurance prior to departure.
  • Must assist with locating own training position.
  • Must have at least €300 / per month personal finances.

Responsibilities of host company:
  • Provides internship
  • Compensation is negotiable between host company and trainee

Responsibilities of CDS:
  • Provides orientation
  • Arranges insurance
  • Provides DS-2019 form (formerly IAP-66 form; application for J-1 exchange visa)
  • Provides support througout the program
