Your Safety
The safety and security of our program participants is a serious priority for CDS International. Our management and staff maintain ongoing communication with the U.S. Department of State, U.S. embassies, consulates, and local officials abroad, as well as our partner organizations, to obtain the latest security information. Our staff knows where and how to contact each participant in the event of an emergency. Likewise, participants are encouraged to contact CDS staff at any time, and promptly in the event their safety may be at risk.

Please write to to update your contact information and/or that of your emergency contact, or to address a concern to CDS staff. Please be sure to include your name, program name (USA Internship Program, Congress-Bundestag, etc.), and the name of your program officer.
Participants and parents are encouraged to contact CDS with any concerns or comments. We are prepared to listen and to help in anyway that we can.
