European Union Study Tour

Overview

In 2005 CDS, along with the Carl Duisberg Centren (CDC) organized an European Union Study Tour for students to spend two engaging weeks exploring the European Union today. The study tour began with a three-day seminar on the European Union’s dynamic history and its latest developments as the largest economic block in the world. Day trips and a weekend tour to one of Europe’s oldest cities allowed students an insight into the historical aspects of Europe. The second week of the study tour was spent in Brussels visiting EU institutions, missions to the EU and in meetings with representatives of the European Parliament as well as other important organizations that lend the EU its multicultural and dynamic flair. This comprehensive tour was for EU novices and experts alike!
