This program, administered in cooperation with our partner organization, Comisión de Intercambio Educativo (COINED), provides internship opportunities for U.S. and Canadian students and young professionals in either Buenos Aires or Córdoba, Argentina. Unpaid placements are available in business/finance, general administration, hotel management/tourism, computer science, engineering and a variety of other fields. Two program options are available: a 4-week Spanish language course and an 8-week internship with an Argentinean company (Combination Language/Internship Option) or a 12-week internship with a host company (Internship Option). Applications are accepted on a rolling basis throughout the year. Applications must be submitted at least 3 to 4 months before the desired start date.

Extra: a limited number of scholarships are now available for participants
through the CDS International Scholarship Fund.

Responsibilities Of:

Participants:

• Send in a complete application at least three - four months before your desired start date
• Pay a $100 non-refundable application fee - upon acceptance, pay balance of program fees. (View Program Fees Chart in Program Overview).
• Arrange and pay for your flight to and from Argentina
• Arrive in Argentina by the program start date
• Select housing option in application
• Submit proof of health insurance (health insurance is available through CDS)
• Represent your home country in a responsible way

CDS/ COINED:

• Pre-departure orientation mailing
• Optional airport pickup upon arrival in Argentina
• Cultural immersion/orientation seminar upon arrival in Buenos Aires or Córdoba
• Enrollment in language course, if chosen
• Arrangement of unpaid internship in your field with an Argentinean host company
• Arrangement of housing in Buenos Aires or Córdoba, if chosen
• Support throughout the program in Argentina and the USA

A check made out to CDS International, Inc. in the amount of $100 must be submitted with your application. We cannot consider an application until the application fee has been received. Scholarships from the CDS International Scholarship Fund are also available. Qualified candidates will receive further details upon acceptance to the program.
