Cultural Vistas Services and Fees

Cultural Vistas staff provides personalized support to participants during the application process, throughout the program in Germany, and after returning home.

Cultural Vistas provides:

• Assistance during the application process including help drafting a Lebenslauf (German resume)
• Internship placement in your target field with a German host company
• Pre-departure orientation in Atlanta
• Work Authorization services and assistance with other bureaucratic matters
• Three-day cultural immersion/orientation seminar upon arrival in Germany
• Enrollment in language course (optional)
• Housing assistance
• Support throughout the program in Germany and the U.S.
• Re-entry information about marketing your work experience abroad in the U.S.
• Invitation to the German-American Career Connection Reception in Atlanta
• The stipend provided by The Halle Foundation includes the following:
• • Reimbursement of up to US$1,200 for transatlantic airfare
  • US$250 voucher for in-country transportation related to the program
  • Living and housing stipend in Germany of up to US$975 (dependent on host company compensation)
  • Health and accident insurance
