Joanna Curtis
Program Coordinator, Robert Bosch Foundation Fellowship Program
Joanna Curtis grew up in central Florida, where her family's frequent international houseguests piqued an interest in cultural difference and international education. A graduate of Swarthmore College (BA History, Music, and German Studies) and the London School of Economics (MSc International Relations), she has lived and studied in Germany, Austria, Italy and the UK. Joanna has worked at CDS since 2004, serving on the Bosch Fellowship program staff and, in 2006, as Communications and Development Manager. Outside of the office, she enjoys opera, politics, languages, and travel.

Christopher Wymbs
Program Officer, Robert Bosch Foundation Fellowship Program
Christopher Wymbs, himself a former Congress Bundestag Youth Exchange program participant, graduated from Rutgers University with a dual BA degree in German and Marketing. After completing his MA in German Language and Literature from Tufts University, he obtained a teaching post at the University of Tübingen, Germany in the American Studies Department instructing film, history, culture, and language courses. He has taught German studies at Penn State University for two years and ESL at the University of Marburg, Germany while trying to pursue an elusive PhD. Chris started working for the foundation in January of 2007 and is delighted to bring his international experiences to CDS International. Additionally, he's quite pleased to be back in his magnificent home, New Jersey (the Garden State). |
