Melissa Graves
Program Officer, Internships Abroad & Alfa Fellowship Program
Having spent most of her youth between the US, Germany and Mexico, international travel came naturally to Melissa. She took advantage of as many exchange programs as possible, studying and interning in Germany, the Netherlands, and Italy. She earned a BA at UCLA in German and European Studies and an MA from Johns Hopkins University - SAIS in American Foreign Policy and International Economics, and taught current events and English at Tatar Institute for Promotion of Business (TISBI) in Kazan, Russia, for two years. Melissa joined CDS in August 2005.

Katerina Holubova
Program Officer, Internships Abroad
Katerina is from Prague, Czech Republic, but has lived in the US since 1986 and in New York City since 1989. She received
her BA in German Language and Literature from Hunter College in 2001. Her interest in international exchange and foreign language studies have led her to CDS International, where she began working as a Program Assistant in the Fall of 2002. Katerina enjoys visiting galleries and NYC nightlife.

Sonja Du Bey
Assistant Program Officer, Internships Abroad
Sonja graduated from the International School of Management in Dortmund, Germany, in July 2005, with a degree in Business with a focus on Tourism, Event and Hospitality Management. Having lived and worked in Spain, the U.S. and Germany, Sonja enjoys the cultural and professional aspects of new environments. Sonja joined CDS in August 2005 and is excited about living in NYC.

Maria Terrazas
Program Assistant, Internships Abroad
Maria was born and raised in El Paso Texas, located on the border between Mexico and the United States. From a very young age, she was exposed to two different cultures, and grew to appreciate the importance of languages and cultural diversity. Maria studied International Relations at St. Mary's University in San Antonio, Texas where she also participated in several study abroad programs to France, the U.K, and as a Congress-Bundestag Youth Exchange participant in Germany. Her passion for international exchange programs led her to intern at the State Department in the Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs, and finally to join CDS International in 2006. Maria is excited to be a part of the CDS team, and to be living in such a vibrant and diverse city like New York.
